Building feels different in summer.

Time moves more slowly. Ideas have space to breathe. Conversation stretches beyond the screen. SummerHacks is a thoughtfully curated hackathon set in spaces that actually inspire — sun-soaked, open, and built for creativity. Not a fluorescent classroom. Something better.

At its core, SummerHacks is about creating something lasting. Not only the projects that are built, but the memory of building them — in a space that made you feel something. Together, during a fleeting moment of summer.

Let's build in golden hours.

General info

About

Participants will spend a weekend building projects in carefully chosen spaces — filled with natural light, open energy, and a creative atmosphere you won't find in a university lecture hall.

Let's touch grass

Where you build shapes what you build. Natural light, open layouts, and a little life around you change the energy of a room — and the ideas that come out of it.

Sometimes, the best way to build better things is to unplug for a moment and let the world around you do the rest.

Join us under the sun

Help us create a space to innovate under open skies. Hosted outdoors, SummerHacks pushes creativity beyond traditional walls and encourages students to think differently about the world they are building, and the environment we live in. As our debut event, partner support plays a critical role in bringing this vision to life!

We are seeking sponsors who believe in shaping a greener future through community-driven innovation and want to meaningfully invest in the next generation of sustainable builders.
